Armando Barleta Heredia, 79, of Portsmouth, RI, passed away peacefully at home on June 2, 2024. He was the husband of Cecilia (Gutierrez) Heredia.
Born in Calauan, Laguna, Philippines, he was the son of late Agapito and Venancia (Barleta) Heredia.
Along with his wife Armando leaves his children, Armando Jose Heredia and his wife Jennifer, of Coventry, and Abigail Heredia, of Cambridge, MA.
He is also survived by his sister Veveca Austria of the Philippines as well as four grandchildren, Alexandria, Christopher, Sydney and Stephen.
Besides his parents, he was the brother of the late Agapito Heredia, Vereen Heredia and Winifreda Heredia.
Armando is preceded in death by father, Agapito Heredia; mother, Venancia Heredia.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at St. Lucy’s Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown, RI.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM in St. Lucy’s Church.
Burial will follow at St. Columba Cemetery, Middletown
