The Newport International Polo Series, presented by Turkish Airlines, will feature a rivalry for the ages: Bentley vs. Rolls-Royce at 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 8. According to Newport Polo, it’s one of the most heated contests this season.

Inaugurated in 2020, the rivalry between the two luxury brands will pit a top polo veteran squad representing the venerable Rolls-Royce team against a roster of fierce young all-stars riding for Bentley in a high-octane six-chukker match.

“Bentley and Rolls Royce are the two premium luxury cars in the automotive world, whose globally renowned features and elegant finishes are recognized for providing the best comfort and riding experience,” explains Christine Scott, Marketing Director of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars New England and Bentley Boston in a statement, “and they are equal rivals on the track and turf, out to prove which is the fastest!”

“We are savoring this rematch for the esteemed Liberty Cup and hope to be the ones hoisting the silver at the end of the day against a seriously formidable rival,” comments Dan Keating, Polo Series president and founder, in a statement.  “It will be a season highlight for the packed house of polo and racing fans as well.”

In addition to the latest Bentley and Rolls-Royce models on display at the polo grounds, highlighted by the all-electric Spectre from Rolls-Royce, a spectacle of owner vehicles from the factory-authorized Bentley Boston and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars New England dealerships will amass at the polo grounds.
