The Preservation Society of Newport County invites Newport County residents to enjoy free admission to The Breakers, Rosecliff and Marble House on February 9-10, 2019.
All residents need to take advantage of this special weekend is a valid driver’s license or other identification with an address, according to The Preservation Society of Newport County.
“All visitors can also enjoy a picture perfect moment at The Breakers, where our photographer will be set up in the Great Hall from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both days,” The Preservation Society of Newport County writes in a press release announcing the event. “Pose with family and friends on the main staircase for a never-before-possible photo opportunity with Alice Vanderbilt’s portrait in the background, and we will e-mail you a link to obtain your photo from the photographer at a date in the near future”.

Free Admission For Newport Residents In 2019
A reminder that The Preservation Society of Newport County is inviting all City of Newport residents to enjoy free general admission to the Newport Mansions in 2019.
Free admission is available for Newport residents on arrival at The Breakers, The Elms, Marble House, Rosecliff and Green Animals Topiary Garden.
“Any resident member of your family is welcome to come and take any regular tour of our houses, any day of the week, just by showing proof of City of Newport residency at the ticket station at any one of the Newport Mansions, The Preservation Society of Newport County writes on their website. “That can be a driver’s license, motor vehicle registration, other photo ID, passport, utility bill, or any similar document that shows your name and address. To take advantage of this offer, each adult, individual or in a group, must show proof of City of Newport residency. ID not required for children to receive their free immediate admission ticket. Children must be escorted by an adult”.
