Norman Bird Sanctuary invites music lovers to the 44th Annual Harvest Fair this weekend, featuring an impressive lineup of bands and musicians to keep the party rocking in the Newport Craft Beer Garden. The diverse lineup of fun bands, organized by renowned local musician Bob Kendall, covers a wide range of styles and genres, from Mark Cutler’s rootsy rock to Cardboard Ox’s soulful harmonies.

Saturday, September 29th

  • 11:00 a.m. – Bubble Visor
  • 12:00 p.m. – Randy Robbins
  • 1:00 p.m. – The CarLeans
  • 2:00 p.m. – LOVE LOVE
  • 3:00 p.m. – The Weisstronauts
  • 4:00 p.m. – Gumption and Glory

Sunday, September 30th

  • 11:00 a.m. – Dan Blakeslee
  • 12:00 p.m. – Cardboard Ox
  • 1:00 p.m. – Nerve Pill
  • 2:00 p.m. – Mark Cutler
  • 3:00 p.m. – Sam Doores
  • 4:00 p.m. – The Horse-Eyed Men

Norman Bird Sanctuary is looking for volunteers to fill a variety of fun Harvest Fair jobs including children’s games, entrance gates, and the Sanctuary Café. Volunteers receive community service hours, free admission to the fair, and a volunteer t-shirt.

Gardeners and cooks are also invited to submit their most impressive flowers, vegetables, or delicious harvest-themed dishes for the Home and Garden Competition.

The proceeds from the Harvest Fair directly support Norman Bird Sanctuary’s mission to preserve and steward 325 acres of wildlife habitat and provide environmental education opportunities to all.

The event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 29th and Sunday, September 30th.
