Day 1 of the 2018 Newport Folk Festival is now history and it is one that folks will remember and be talking about for quite a while.

The day kicked off with stellar performances by Boston’s Darlingside on the Harbor Stage and ended with David Crosby surprising the crowd when he joined Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit on the Fort Stage.
