Smoke House Newport Storm

Smoke House has announced that they will host their third and final annual Newport Storm Beer Dinner on Thursday, September 21st.

The “Oktoberfest” menu includes an array of passed appetizers including House Made Pastrami Sliders with Russian dressing and grilled coleslaw; Smoked Chicken Breast with tomato-chile sauce and curry seasoning; Weisswurst, “white” sausage, pretzel crackers and spicy mustard all paired with Newport Storm Castle Hill Windward Weiss.

For the first course, guests will enjoy German Waldorf Salad with apples, celery root, walnut, grapes, lettuce and orange zest paired with Newport Storm’s Blueberry beer. The second course offers Hog Hasenpfeffer, pork shanks stewed in beer, red currant jelly, bacon and shallots with sourdough bread accompanied by Newport Storm Oktoberfest Marzen Lager. The third course will feature Wienerschnitzel, pounded breaded pork with grilled lemon, German warm potato salad and leafy greens, paired with Newport Storm Amber Ale.

Dessert will feature Black Forest Chocolate Cake with coconut buttercream accompanied by Newport Storm Annual Release ‘15, a brew two years in the making with a “bacon effect” made possible by smoked barley and specialty malts.

The cost is $49 per person, tax and gratuity additional.
