The Newport Fire Department Honor Guard was selected to take part in the National Anthem at Fenway Park for the Monday, August 31st Red Sox vs. Yankees game. Pictured (left to right) Lieutenant Mark Riding, Firefighter Evan Katz, Firefighter Kyle McKenna, Firefighter Christopher Mariotti, Firefighter Michael Page, Firefighter Justin DeWolf, Firefighter Robert Henry and Firefighter Gary Largess. The boys brought the Sox luck as they edged out the Yankees for the win 4 to 3.

Before the Pittsburgh Penguins take on the Boston Bruins tonight at 7 p.m. at TD Garden, Newport Fire Department’s Honor Guard will be on hand to present the colors during the National Anthem.

Those representing Newport Fire Department’s Honor Guard tonight is Chris Mariotti, Mark Riding, Kyle McKenna, Michael Page, Chris Garafalo and Brad Cronin.

The game can be watched starting at 7 p.m. on NESN, TVA Sports, ROOT and NHL TV.
