CBS News Sunday Morning with Charles Osgood is filming at The Breakers and the Marble House this week.

The Breakers is closed today (Monday, May 16th) and Marble House will be closed tomorrow (Tuesday, May 17th) as crews film an episode on “design” that will air on Sunday, May 22nd at 9:00 a.m. on WPRI 12.

John Rodman, Director of Museum Experience at Preservation Society of Newport County, tells us that the crew currently has 3 sets setup at The Breakers and that he believes this is Osgood’s first time at the Newport Mansions.

Editor’s Note – A previous version of this story incorrectly included Rosecliff as a filming location and as closed on Monday. The Breakers and Marble House is where filming is taking place.

This story will be updated when/if more information is received.
