Frank Prosnitz, former Reporter for Providence Journal and Providence Business News, and I caught up with Arlene Violet today on The Open Forum on WADK 1540AM about her new book and her current thoughts on what’s happening around Rhode Island.

Former Rhode Island Attorney General Arlene Violet recently co-authored “Dance of the Chameleon” with Jim Squadrito, a veteran, former medic, and successful businessman. The book is an account of Jim’s journey, a Vietnam medic’s story, a compelling and emotional memoir.

Arlene, the first female Attorney General in the United States, talked about her book, her career, with observations on the current state of affairs in Rhode Island.

After our great discussion with Arlene, Frank and I were chatting and me being adopted came up in our discussion about experiences in life. Frank, being the great interviewer he is, took the opportunity to turn the tables on me (on my own show) and got me to open up for the first time on air about foster care, DCYF, child abuse and more. It all certainly took me by surprise.
