1 – Mermaid Masterpieces Sunset Dune

November 2 at 7pm at VanGogh Pizza

Head to VanGogh Pizza  to paint the Mermaid Masterpieces Sunset Dune! The cost for the event is $35.00 per adult and $15.00 per child. 3 – Film Screening of America’s Forgotten Heroine: Ida Lewis, Keeper of the Light

November 5 at Newport Historical Society

In the historical documentary America’s Forgotten Hermione, director and producer Marion Gagnon focuses on the intriguing life story of this country’s most famous maritime heroine Ida Lewis. This 45-minute film provides an intimate portrayal of Ida’s life from age 15-69 (from 1857-1911) and the passion and moral fiber she intrinsically brought to her work as a lighthouse keeper and unlikely heroine. Life is Good Founders are hitting the road on their first-ever Nationwide Optimism Tour and they’re coming to Newport.
