Natasha Leggero was scheduled to perform at the Newport Comedy Series at the Hyatt Regency Newport Hotel on November 13th, the What’sUpNewp Crew has learned that the show has been cancelled.

Leggero fans took to Twitter on Tuesday morning and expressed disappointment in the cancellation;

@ImStillS0ber: “Pretty sad I woke up to an e-mail that @natashaleggero show is canceled in Newport, RI next month. Man I had awesome seats.”

It is unknown why the cancellation was made at this time but there is a possibility that the show could be rescheduled in the spring of 2016.

Leggero is best known for her frequent roundtable appearances on Chelsea Handler’s Chelsea Lately and The Tonight Show. Natasha is currently starring in Another Period, a Comedy Central sitcom that takes place in the early 1900’s in Newport, RI.

Comedy Central has recently renewed the turn-of-the-century historical and satirical scripted series Another Period for a second season.
