Fort Adams expands offerings of Gift Shop to include food and beverage, as well as a greater array of sundries and clothing.  The Gift Shop now has a variety of fresh sandwiches, fruit cups, cookies and beverages including: Snapple, Coke products, juices, Powerade and bottled water.

Additionally basic drug store items covering Tylenol, Motrin, antacids, antihistamines, sun screen and batteries are available.
On the non-consumable side, the Gift Shop now offers Tunnel Rat t-shirts and hoodies along with regular Fort Adams t-shirts, crew neck sweatshirts, toddler t-shirts, baby rompers and dog shirts locally produced by NPT Sportswear.  Additionally, seasonal items are sold at the Gift Shop including Halloween and Holiday themed hand crafted wooden ornaments by Chris and John Cassima from Portsmouth. Special children arts and crafts events will also be held at the Gift Shop throughout the year.  An on-line store will be coming later in the year.
“Tonya Frederick, the Gift Shop Manager, has done an excellent job in expanding what the Gift Shop offers,” stated David Martland, vice president of the Fort Adams Trust.  “Visitors can enjoy a one-stop shopping experience knowing that there is now food and beverage at the fort.  Whether one goes on a tour of the fort or just enjoys the north lawn views with their family; you can make a nice picnic out of it since the Gift Shop has everything you need,” he added.
The Gift Shop is open every day from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
