NEWPORT, RI – Rogers boys lacrosse rolled past Tiverton 14-0 on Tuesday afternoon at Braga Park, riding a balanced offense and a stingy defense to a wire-to-wire home victory.

Brady McCombe paced the Vikings with four goals, finding the back of the net repeatedly to lead all scorers. Aidan O’Connell and Luke Mathews chipped in two goals apiece.

The trio combined for eight of Rogers’ 14 goals, with the remaining six spread across the roster as the Vikings built the lead from the opening whistle and never let Tiverton settle in.

Defensively, Rogers refused to give the visitors an opening, keeping Tiverton off the scoreboard across all four quarters to complete the shutout.
