What’sUpNewp and The JPT Film & Event Center are bringing back their annual National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation party on Tuesday, December 23.
The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with a live concert by David Tessier’s All Star Stars, featuring a holiday rock set. The 1989 comedy follows at 7:30 p.m. Complimentary Christmas cookies are included with admission.
In the film, Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) obsesses over creating the perfect family Christmas, badgering his wife Ellen (Beverly D’Angelo) and children as he fusses over every detail from the tree to the house decorations. His plans unravel when his cousin Eddie (Randy Quaid) and family arrive unannounced and set up their camper on the Griswold property — and things get worse when Clark’s employers back out of his expected holiday bonus.
The PG-13 comedy also stars Juliette Lewis, Johnny Galecki, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
