The Providence-Newport Ferry will kick off its 2025 season on Friday, June 20.

“The Ocean State,” operated by Seastreak, will run daily trips through Monday, October 13 (Columbus Day), including summer weekend and holiday stops in Bristol.

One-way tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for children (ages 3-12), seniors (65+), and individuals with disabilities. Round-trip tickets are $24 for adults and $12 for children (ages 3-12), seniors (65+), and individuals with disabilities. Infants (2 and under) ride free. There is a $5 exchange fee (per booking).

The boat arrives and departs from 25 India Street in Providence, 39 America’s Cup Avenue in Newport, and 147 Thames Street in Bristol.

Parking at the Providence ferry terminal is complimentary and on-site. A complimentary shuttle bus service is also available between the Providence train station, convention center, downtown, and the Providence to Newport ferry terminal.

The ride between Providence and Newport takes approximately sixty minutes.
