If you’re keeping an eye on the market, here’s a snapshot: Homes in Rhode Island are now spending an average of 35+ days on the market—about 3 days longer than last year. But homes that are priced and positioned properly in Newport County are seeing much more aggressive activity. It’s the simple dynamics of supply vs. demand still in play.

For Buyers: With more homes becoming available – as is common with the seasonality of New England, it’s a good time to shop around, but keep in mind that competition is still strong.
