The Newport County real estate market remains active and competitive as we move deeper into the spring season. According to Realtor.com, the median listing price of homes as of February 2025 was $834,900, and the median sold price in Newport County hit $710,000, with an average of 46 days on market. This rise in prices is largely driven by the continued lack of available inventory, which is making the market especially challenging for buyers. The shortage of listings means well-priced homes are often receiving multiple offers shortly after hitting the market, sometimes within days.
