Get ready for an exciting spring season from Newport Contemporary Ballet (NCB). They’re bringing two fantastic productions to the stage.
First up is “Mystical Ways,” a show that dives into the hidden magic of everyday life. This production features brand-new works from choreographers Marika Brussel and Shane Farrell, along with NCB’s own Artistic Director, Danielle Genest.
You can catch “Mystical Ways” at the Keats Theatre at St. Andrews School. Shows are on March 21 and 22, 2025, at 7 p.m., with a matinee on March 23 at 3 p.m. Tickets start at $32 and go up to $58.
Back by popular demand is “Are the Crayons Quitting?” This charming adaptation brings Drew Daywalt’s beloved children’s book, “The Day the Crayons Quit,” to life on stage. Genest teamed up with local Rhode Island artists, composers, and designers to create this family-friendly show.
“Are the Crayons Quitting?” will be performed at the Keats Theatre on March 22 at 4 p.m. and March 23 at 1 p.m. Tickets range from $15 to $42.
It’s worth noting that Daywalt’s book is a big deal. It’s won over 60 awards worldwide and spent more than a year at the top of the New York Times Bestseller List.
Don’t miss out on these fantastic performances. Get your tickets now and experience the magic of Newport Contemporary Ballet this spring!
