Charter Books is gearing up for an exciting event featuring New York Times bestselling author Carissa Broadbent at The JPT on November 25.

From 6 to 7:30 pm, Broadbent will chat with Rhode Island author Riss Neilson about her new book, “The Songbird & The Heart of Stone,” the third installment in the Crowns of Nyaxia series.

Broadbent, who calls Tiverton home, has both self-published and traditionally published books under her belt. Neilson, who’ll be leading the conversation, is from Providence. Her first young adult novel, “Deep in Providence,” was a finalist for the 2022 New England Book Awards.
