Newport Water Division customers should expect to receive their water bills in the mail starting this week. The bills have been delayed due to a vendor issue, but the city says the late payment penalty date has also been extended.

“The August bills, which had been delayed due to a vendor issue, will carry a new due date of Sept. 14th. The late payment penalty date has also been extended,” the City of Newport shared in a press release.

Customers are encouraged to call 401-845-5604 with any questions about payment or to speak with a representative. Customers can also email utilitybilling@cityofnewport.com with any questions or concerns.
