The Arts & Cultural Alliance of Newport County presents its networking event, Arts Around the Fire Tuesday, November 17th from 6-8pm at Salvation Café’s Post & Beam room at 140 Broadway in Newport.

Arts Around the Fire is an opportunity for artists, writers, performers and arts patrons to chat with colleagues about events and accomplishments in the Newport County cultural community and learn about new ideas and good work being done.

Tracy Jonsson be there to speak briefly about her project, Newport Art House.  Newport Art House is a new initiative with the mission to nurture, showcase, and promote the contemporary arts in Newport County with the goal of running a Newport based residency program with facilities within the next five years.

Arts Around the Fire features a cash bar, complimentary hors d’oeuvres donated by Salvation Café and an informal atmosphere where artists and art lovers can connect.

Sign up for a free membership or become a supporting member of the Alliance, a coalition of individuals and non-profits committed to the advancement of arts and culture in Newport County.

The next Arts Around the Fire will be on January 19th at Salvation Café.
