A shingle-style estate at 41 Castle Hill Avenue sold for $7.1 million, the third-highest sale recorded in Newport so far this year, according to the Rhode Island Statewide MLS.

The house, known as Castleberry, sits off Ocean Drive with private beach access through the Castle Hill Neighborhood Association. It runs 11,293 square feet across three finished levels connected by an elevator, with five bedrooms and seven full and two half bathrooms.

The main floor has open living and dining areas, a formal dining room and a family room suite with a full bath. The lower level holds a media room, wet bar and exercise space. The top floor has an 18-by-18-foot observation sunroom, and second-floor balconies look out over the ocean. It sold fully turnkey.
