August has arrived, and there’s no better way to kick off the month than with one of Newport’s signature weekends. As the Newport Jazz Festival returns to Fort Adams, thousands of visitors will once again experience everything that makes this community such a special place to live.
It’s also shaping up to be one of the busiest Open House weekends we’ve had in recent weeks, with dozens of homes open throughout Newport County. Whether you’re actively searching for your next home, considering an investment property, or simply curious about the local market, it’s a great opportunity to explore what’s available.
The market itself continues to move. Inventory has improved (slightly) compared to the last few weeks, giving buyers more options and a little more breathing room. At the same time, we are still well below standard metrics for available inventory. For consumers, it’s become a healthier, more balanced market where buyers can make informed decisions and sellers who invest in presentation, pricing, and marketing are continuing to see successful results.
