The Jamestown Democratic Town Committee has announced its endorsements for the 2026 election cycle, backing Helena Foulkes for governor and incumbent U.S. Sen. Jack Reed for re-election, along with a full slate of state and federal candidates.

The committee’s full list of endorsements:

  • U.S. Senate: Jack Reed
  • Governor: Helena Foulkes
  • Lieutenant Governor: Sue Anderbois
  • Attorney General: Keith Hoffmann
  • General Treasurer: James Diossa
  • Secretary of State: Gregg Amore
  • Senate District 13: Dawn Euer
  • State Representative: Alex Finkelman

“Helena Foulkes was overwhelmingly endorsed by the Jamestown Democratic Town Committee for Governor,” said co-chair Deborah Ruggiero. “She has a vision and a concrete plan to make Rhode Island’s economy thrive, to champion renewable energy, and to provide affordable housing for working families.”
