The 21st Annual Ramleh Benefit Yard Sale will return to St. George’s School next month, with proceeds funding summer camp experiences for children from the local community.

The free, public yard sale runs from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 6, at the school’s Cabot-Harman Ice Center, 384 Purgatory Road.

A public presale will be held the night before, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, June 5. Tickets for the presale are $15 per person and can be purchased at stgeorges.edu/public-forms/ramleh.

Billed as the largest yard sale on Aquidneck Island, the event is stocked in large part with students’ former housewares, school supplies, sports equipment, furniture, clothing and electronics.

In past years, items have included floor and table lamps, small appliances, bookcases, coffee tables, couches, pillows, towels, sheets, blankets, comforters, curtains, jewelry, backpacks, suitcases, storage containers, bicycles, toys, office chairs, rugs and clothing in all sizes.

In addition to funding summer camp experiences, unsold donated goods benefit local agencies including Lucy’s Hearth, the Potter League, the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center, Child and Family Services, the Women’s Resource Center, the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Protection and the McKinney Shelter.
