Discover Newport will host a Marketing Strategy Workshop on Tuesday, June 9, inviting members of the local tourism and hospitality community to help guide the organization’s future marketing direction.

The interactive session is scheduled for 9 a.m. at Innovate Newport, 513 Broadway. Organizers said the workshop will facilitate discussion around industry priorities and opportunities, with the goal of aligning Discover Newport’s marketing efforts with the needs of the businesses and destinations it promotes.

Participation is encouraged from all sectors of the hospitality and tourism community. Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP by emailing Clara Crawford at ccrawford@discovernewport.org.

Discover Newport is the official destination management organization promoting the city of Newport and eight surrounding coastal townships in Newport and Bristol counties: Barrington, Bristol, Jamestown, Little Compton, Middletown, Portsmouth, Tiverton and Warren. The nonprofit partners with stakeholders across the region to market the area as a destination for business and leisure travel.
