Judy Collins will perform two nights at the JPT Film & Event Center in Newport on June 13 and 14 as part of her “Sweet Judy Blue Eyes” Farewell Tour, with a second show added due to demand.
Both performances begin at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 10, at 10 a.m. at janepickens.com or by calling 1-800-657-8774.
The farewell tour gives audiences a final chance to see Collins perform live as she bids goodbye to the road after more than six decades as one of folk music’s most enduring voices. Known for her luminescent vocals and commitment to social activism, Collins rose to prominence in the 1960s and has since released 55 albums.
Her recent years have been remarkably productive. Since 2015, she has released six new albums, including Spellbound, her first album of entirely self-penned songs, which earned a Grammy nomination for best folk album in 2023. She also published a poetry collection in 2025, “Sometimes It’s Heaven: Poems of Love, Loss and Redemption.”
