Mark your calendars, folk fans.
Tickets for the 2026 Newport Folk Festival will go on sale Wednesday, Feb. 4, at 1 p.m. EST, the Newport Festivals Foundation announced.
The three-day festival returns to Fort Adams State Park from July 24-26, bringing music lovers back to the scenic waterfront venue overlooking Newport Harbor.
All tickets will be sold exclusively through DICE and can be purchased on the DICE website or through its iOS and Android mobile apps. Tickets are digital only — no paper or PDF tickets will be issued — and will be delivered via the DICE app closer to the event.
Festival organizers have warned fans not to purchase tickets from third-party resellers before the official on-sale date, as those listings are speculative and not backed by actual tickets.
Children 9 and younger are admitted free with a ticketed adult, with a limit of two children per adult. Children 10 and older require a general admission ticket.
The artist lineup has not yet been announced. In recent years, the festival has revealed performers on a rolling basis after tickets go on sale. Last summer’s festival featured Kenny Loggins, Public Enemy, Luke Combs and Jeff Tweedy.
Founded by George Wein in 1959, the Newport Folk Festival is one of the longest-running music festivals in the country and has been held at Fort Adams since 1985.
