JAC FROST: Immersive Projection Art by Julio Berroa Lights Up Jamestown Arts Center on January 24 (Jamestown Arts Center)

The Jamestown Arts Center will host its second annual JAC Frost celebration on Saturday, Jan. 24, featuring an immersive projection art installation by Providence-based digital artist Julio Berroa.

The event, running from 7 to 10 p.m., promises an audio and visual art experience complete with a DJ and dance party.

Berroa, who has created large-scale installations in Denver and at PVDFest, has spent the past month developing a site-specific work for the arts center.

“Attendees can expect to experience an immersive art installation that transforms the Jamestown Arts Center into a winter-toned environment,” Berroa said. “The installation blurs the line between audience and artwork, creating an intimate, seasonal experience shaped by presence, memory, and atmosphere.”

Event committee member Yarrow Thorne said organizers are building on last year’s inaugural event.

“This is our second annual JAC Frost dance party — and we are amping it up,” Thorne said.

Guests are encouraged to wear festive, sparkling attire. The evening will include a cash bar, signature cocktails and small bites.

Tickets are $40 and available at jamestownartcenter.org.

The event is sponsored by Narragansett Beer, Flash Photobooth and Ginger White.

The Jamestown Arts Center is located at 18 Valley St.
