(RI Kickball)

Looking for a reason to actually look forward to Monday nights? RI Kickball has you covered.

The Newport-based adult kickball league is now accepting registrations for its Spring 2026 season — its 28th since launching in 2011. Games kick off March 30 at Morton Park, with matches held Monday evenings at 6 p.m.

The co-ed league is open to players 21 and older, and there’s room for both full teams and individual “free agents” looking to be placed on a roster. Teams must have at least 15 players.

The deadline to register a team, submit rosters, and turn in custom shirt artwork is Feb. 27.

Registration covers field fees, insurance, equipment, team shirts, trophies, and entry to all league social events — including a Saturday Game Day and mid-season party on April 25, plus an end-of-season celebration with awards.

RI Kickball operates as a nonprofit 501(c)(7) organization focused on building community through recreation.

“Whether you form a full team or sign up as a free agent, RI Kickball is all about community, teamwork, and making Monday nights something to look forward to,” a league representative said.
