A Briarwood Lane estate has sold for $4.5 million, marking the highest sale in Portsmouth since December 2024, according to Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty.
The property at 230 Briarwood Lane, known as “Sea Farm,” is an eight-acre estate designed by Estes Twombly Architects. The home features a 2,000-square-foot granite terrace, saltwater pool and a four-car garage with a studio apartment.

Joseph Costa and Kylie McCollough of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty represented the sellers. Benjamin Willett of Serhant Rhode Island represented the buyers.
According to Multiple Listing Service data, this is the highest sale in Portsmouth since 483 Vanderbilt Lane sold in December 2024. McCollough also represented clients in that transaction.
“Bringing Sea Farm to market was an honor,” Costa said. “The home’s design, craftsmanship, and natural setting created an experience that captivated buyers instantly.”

McCollough called it “a privilege to represent this extraordinary property and, for the second consecutive year, achieve the highest sale in Portsmouth for my clients.”
Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty was founded by Judy Chace and Ray Mott in 2013 and has eight offices in southern New England.
