Puddingstone Music will present a chamber music concert featuring works by Brahms, Schubert and Schumann on Nov. 1 at Rough Point Mansion.
The performance, titled “Romantic Entwined: Brahms, Schubert & Schumann,” will begin at 6:30 p.m. and feature violinist Geneva Lewis and pianist Audrey Vardanega.
The program includes Schumann’s “Three Romances,” Schubert’s “Sonatina in G minor” and Brahms’ “Violin Sonata No. 1.”
Musical America and the BBC have described Lewis as an “artist to watch.” Vardanega has performed at venues including Merkin Hall at The Kaufman Music Center, Teatro del Libertador San Martín and the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music.
The concert will also feature works by London-born visual artist Alastair Dacey, whose pieces will be displayed during the performance.
The event follows Puddingstone Music’s “Jazz & Shakespeare” mini-series, which sold out, according to organizers.
Tickets are available at PuddingstoneMusic.org.
