Rising pop artist Krystofer Maison will bring his touring production “The Glitter Ball: Gilded Edition” to Provence sur Mer on Thursday, Oct. 23, for an evening blending pop and opera performances with mental health advocacy.

The event, running from 7 to 10 p.m., will feature Maison alongside opera singer and drag performer Creatine Price, a finalist on “La France a un Incroyable Talent” (France’s Got Talent), and international producer David Schoenwetter, who performs as DJ INViDA. The evening will include dueling pop and opera performances, signature cocktails, art-making activities and a costume contest.

Maison recently headlined Hard Rock Cafe Times Square with Dorinda Medley of “The Real Housewives of New York.” His latest single, “Glitter Rinse Repeat,” accumulated more than 15,000 streams in its first month.

The performance is part of a broader October partnership with Project Blackbird, a mental health advocacy organization that provides panel programs and free therapy to young people. Ten percent of event proceeds will benefit Project Blackbird’s work with the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

Several Newport-area businesses are sponsoring the event, including Casey & Co. Events, which is producing the show; Provence sur Mer, which is hosting; Exquisite Events, which is handling decorations; Charcuterie & Dessert Kreations, which is providing food; and Bevi e Vivi and The Social, which are providing beverages.

Tickets cost $80 and are available at posh.vip/e/the-glitter-ball-gilded-edition. Discounted tickets are available for event industry professionals, and special “industry sponsor” tickets include logo and media inclusion.

Price, whose given name is Jordan Weatherston Pitts, has performed with companies including New York City Opera, Opera Saratoga and Hawaii Opera Theatre. His work has been featured in publications including Le Monde, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times.

Schoenwetter, known professionally as INViDA, has worked with artists including Norah Jones, Yoko Ono and Death Cab for Cutie. His dance music releases have earned support from DJs including Tiësto, Hardwell and Don Diablo.
