Aquidneck Community Table is extending its Saturday outdoor farmers market at the Newport County YMCA through Nov. 22, offering residents and visitors additional weeks of fresh, local food.

The extension is part of the organization’s effort to strengthen support for local growers and makers while adapting to vendor and customer needs. Instead of hosting a traditional winter market in 2025-26, Aquidneck Community Table will focus on an extended outdoor season and several special winter events across Aquidneck Island.

“Autumn is such a special time on the Island,” said Rose Jones, executive director of Aquidneck Community Table. “We’re excited to celebrate the abundance of the fall harvest and the vibrancy of our vendor community with an extended market season this year.”

Since launching at the YMCA this spring, the Saturday market has welcomed more than 25,000 visits.

The extended season will feature fresh produce, baked goods, locally raised meats and artisanal products from local vendors, along with live music and family-friendly activities.

The market operates Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon.

Aquidneck Community Table will announce special pop-up winter markets and events in early 2026.
