Last week’s “What Sold” is highlighted by a $10,000,000 transaction in Jamestown at 2 Fort Wetherill Road, one of the largest residential sales we’ve seen statewide this year, along with 21 total residential closings published in the statewide MLS. From high-end estates to more modest single-family homes and condominiums, the sales reflect the full range of our local market.

The bigger story, though, is what this time of year means for buyers and sellers. As we close the chapter on summer, the calendar shift tends to bring a noticeable change in real estate activity. Buyers who spent the past few months distracted by weddings, barbecues, and vacations are now turning their focus toward housing. Sellers who waited out the busy summer season are preparing to bring inventory to market.
