It’s another action-packed weekend for real estate in Newport County, with 68 Open Houses scheduled across the area. From coastal condos to classic colonials, the lineup is especially strong in Jamestown, Newport,  and Portsmouth, giving buyers plenty of opportunities to get out and tour. The fall market is dealing, will you be one to capitalize?

In our local community, there are 295 active listings on MLS between condos, single family and multi-family homes, with 121 priced under $1,000,000. Our market offers a wide range of price points, but it’s evident that much of the inventory is top tier in terms of expense. Sellers are starting to be a little more realistic, buyers are showing renewed signs of motivation, and the days of homes selling overnight with ten offers are now long behind us. Instead, we’re seeing a more balanced market where preparation, strategy, and accurate pricing truly make the difference.

My teammate Michelle and I will be hosting an Open House this weekend on Saturday morning from 11 – 12:30 at 78 Cornelius Drive in Portsmouth, a well-kept colonial set in a prime neighborhood off Indian Avenue.
