Good morning, Newport! 👋  Today is Sunday, Sept. 21, the 264th day of 2025. There are 103 days left in the year.

🚨 You need to know

Newport Harbor is bustling with maritime activity today as the cruise ship Aurora arrives at Perrotti Park alongside the Enchanted Princess, marking the beginning of what promises to be one of the busiest stretches of the 2025 cruise season. With 32 additional ship visits scheduled through early November, Newport is set to welcome thousands of passengers over the next seven weeks.

October emerges as the crown jewel of Newport’s cruise calendar, with 19 scheduled arrivals making it the busiest month of the season. The month kicks off Wednesday with the luxury vessel Crystal Serenity and features multiple visits from popular ships like the Enchanted Princess and Norwegian Getaway, along with premium vessels including Queen Mary 2, Silver Shadow, and the elegant Sojourn.

This year’s remaining schedule showcases Newport’s ability to attract diverse cruise markets, from mass-market ships like Norwegian Getaway that bring thousands of passengers to luxury vessels such as Crystal Serenity and Le Champlain that offer more intimate experiences. The schedule includes several back-to-back days and concludes with four November visits, ending with Allura on November 7.

The majority of these vessels will anchor in Newport Harbor and tender passengers to Perrotti Park, where local businesses are gearing up for what traditionally represents some of their busiest days of the year.

The complete cruise schedule is subject to change without notice and available through Discover Newport.
