The Newport International Polo Series will wrap up its 34th season Saturday with the Turkish Airlines Finals at 4 p.m., featuring world-class polo competition and a grand prize drawing for round-trip business class travel to any destination worldwide.

Gates open at 12 p.m. for the season finale at Newport Polo, allowing time for tailgating and fieldside picnics before the championship match begins. The event marks the final opportunity this year to experience international polo competition in Newport.

Grammy-nominated opera baritone Trevor Neal, in partnership with Newport Classical, will perform the national anthem before the match. The collaboration represents a pairing of two Newport cultural institutions.

The highlight for many attendees will be the Turkish Airlines Grand Prize Drawing, where one fan selected from Saturday’s crowd and previous door prize winners will win business class travel for two to any global destination.

Newport Classical will also provide a door prize featuring a bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne paired with tickets to next Friday’s chamber concert. The concert will feature violinist Blake Pouliot and pianist Henry Kramer performing works by Schumann and Dvořák as part of Newport Classical’s 2025-26 Chamber Series.

College students can receive discounted admission with valid identification at the gates.

“With perfect autumn weather, a full day of festivities, and international travel on the line, the Turkish Airlines Finals promise a fitting crescendo to an unforgettable season,” said Dan Keating, Newport Polo president.

The organization is already looking ahead to 2026, which will mark Newport Polo’s 150th Diamond Jubilee Season.
