The Newport International Boat Show announced Friday the winners of its 2025 Newport for New Products awards, honoring innovation in marine products as judged by industry experts.

Hinckley Yachts’ Picnic Boat 39 claimed the top prize as Best New Boat Overall and also won Best New Powerboat Under 45-feet at the awards ceremony held Sept. 12.

The annual awards recognize products that made their national debut after April 1, 2025, and their boat show debut at Newport. Winners were selected based on innovation, customer value, safety and aesthetics.

FT Technologies’ FT602-D-SM Wind Sensor received an honorable mention in the Best Technology Product category.

The Newport International Boat Show spans over 17 acres of Newport’s waterfront and features hundreds of exhibitors showcasing powerboats and sailboats ranging from 15 to 90 feet, along with marine equipment, services and accessories.

The show continues Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the Newport waterfront.

The show is considered one of the most coveted in-water events in the country for boating enthusiasts.
