Jim Heskett, a renowned visual artist, is showcasing his latest collection of acrylic paintings in a solo exhibition called “Light, Dark, Water.” The show opens at CUSP GALLERY (51 Touro Street) on June 6, 2025.
The exhibition features more than a dozen new pieces that push the boundaries between what we can see and what we can’t, blending reality with memory.
“In this series, water is more than a subject—it’s a voice,” says Heskett. “It carries
memory, reflects truth, and distorts perception. Light and dark are its dialects.”
You can catch “Light, Dark, Water” at CUSP GALLERY from June 6 to June 22. There’s an opening reception on June 6 from 5 to 8 p.m.
The exhibition is free and everyone’s welcome to attend.
