The Salve Regina University baseball team is headed to Pennsylvania after earning its 10th trip to the NCAA Division III Championships.

The 10th-ranked Seahawks will take on Little East Conference champions Keene State College in their first game of the regional, while host and 19th-ranked Penn State Harrisburg matches up with The College of New Jersey.

The Seahawks are the No. 1 seed in the regional after winning the NEWMAC Championship in walk-off fashion to earn the automatic bid. One season removed from a trip to the College World Series, Salve Regina will take a 32-7 record and program-best 17-game winning streak into the national tournament. This also marks the sixth straight appearance for the Seahawks in the NCAAs and third straight as the top seed (2023 – Misericordia Regional; 2024 – Cortland Regional).

Keene State joins the regional pod after sweeping its way to an LEC title. The Owls’ conference crown was their first in 17 years, and a 17-2 record in their final 19 games helped secure the program’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Penn State Harrisburg is the two-seed in the regional and is set to host at the baseball field on the Middletown campus, just outside of Harrisburg. The Lions enter the NCAA Tournament with a record of 33-11-1, losing to Keystone in the United East Championship Game.

TCNJ (26-17-1) is making its 25th appearance in the NCAA Tournament and third since the new regional format began in 2019 after finishing as the runner-up in the NJAC Tournament. The Lions put together a strong case for their at-large bid, closing the year out with wins over Kean and Rowan – both of which were ranked in the Top 10 in the National Power Index (NPI) – in the conference tournament before falling to Rutgers-Camden.

Salve Regina and Keene State will open the regional on Friday, May 16, followed by TCNJ’s matchup against Penn State Harrisburg. Game times are to be determined.
