Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty announced today (May 21) the sale of a waterfront property (424 Beavertail Road) in Jamestown for $3.7 million.
This sale is the highest for land in the town since 2017, and the second-highest land sale ever recorded in the town.
The property at 424 Beavertail Road spans 5.7 acres and was previously a gentleman’s farm. It offers stunning panoramic views and is just minutes away from downtown Newport.
Kylie McCollough, a sales associate at Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty, represented the sellers. Her colleague, Roxanne Gordon, represented the buyers.
“Thrilled to set another sales record for my clients with the closing of 424 Beavertail in Jamestown — the highest land sale in over eight years,” says Kylie McCollough. “We collaborated with a local architect to showcase the incredible potential of this iconic coastal property, and we’re excited to watch it come to life in the hands of its new owners.”
“Congratulations to my buyers on purchasing this extraordinary waterfront property with exceptional views, privacy and endless possibilities,” adds Roxanne Gordon. “It was a privilege to represent them in acquiring such a unique 5.7 acre piece of land. I look forward to seeing their vision come to life on this very distinctive property.”
