The Spring market is officially in full swing across Newport County, with ten properties recently closing in Jamestown, Middletown, Newport, Portsmouth, and Tiverton. The mix of sales included everything from waterfront condos to classic colonials and well-maintained ranches—highlighting the continued diversity and demand within the local housing market.

Notable transactions included a $3.175 million condo at Brown & Howard Wharf in Newport, a $1.075 million colonial on Peleg Road in Portsmouth, and my dear friends securing a classic Cape on King Road in Middletown. Several competitive mid-range sales moved quickly, reflecting strong buyer activity. Homes that are well-presented and priced appropriately are still receiving multiple offers and going under contract in a matter of days, a standard reflection of the current supply vs. demand economics of our market. 

As we move deeper into the season, expect to see more inventory come up—giving both buyers more options and sellers more opportunities to capitalize on current demand.
