Newport Classical’s 2025 Music Festival will dazzle audiences with 29 concerts from July 4 to 22 at 11 iconic Newport venues.

Executive Director Gillian Fox promises “an unforgettable celebration of artistry, community, and live performance” against Newport’s stunning backdrop.

The lineup features heavy hitters like Orpheus Chamber Orchestra with violinist Stefan Jackiw, Broadway sensation Jessica Vosk, and pianists Inon Barnatan and Sara Davis Buechner. Music lovers can look forward to world premieres, including Cris Derksen’s “First Light” for the Galvin Cello Quartet, commissioned by Newport Classical.

Soprano Karen Slack brings “African Queens” to life, a collaborative song cycle co-commissioned by Newport Classical and other presenters. The Attacca Quartet will perform the U.S. premiere of David Lang’s “daisy,” another co-commissioned piece.

Opera Night at The Breakers makes a comeback with “An American Tapestry,” showcasing music by Gershwin, Previn, Copland, Barber, and more.

The festival continues to nurture emerging talent through its Festival Artists Residency Program, welcoming five promising musicians early in their careers.
