Spectacle Live is bringing two exciting shows to The JPT in Newport this summer. Folk legend Tom Rush and ukulele master Jake Shimabukuro are set to perform at the historic venue.

Mark your calendars – tickets go on sale Friday, February 28, at 10 a.m.

Tom Rush, joined by singer-songwriter Matt Nakoa, will take the stage on Sunday, June 1, at 7 p.m. With over five decades of touring under his belt, Rush has left an indelible mark on the music world, inspiring artists like James Taylor, Emmylou Harris, Tom Petty, and Garth Brooks. The New York Times calls him “a soft-spoken, powerful interpreter of traditional songs.” Tickets for Rush’s show range from $49 to $89.

On Wednesday, August 27, at 7:30 p.m., Jake Shimabukuro brings his ukulele wizardry to Newport. Shimabukuro, who learned the instrument from his mother, is known for pushing the boundaries of what’s possible on the four-stringed wonder. Tickets for his performance are priced between $59 and $79.
