The International Yacht Restoration School (IYRS) is gearing up for its annual Summer Gala on July 12, 2025.
The event, taking place at 449 Thames St. in Newport, aims to raise essential funds for the school and its students.
Guests can look forward to an evening filled with cocktails, dinner, auctions, and live music from The Legendary Wailers Featuring Junior Marvin.
Event chairs Barbara van Beuren, Steve Glascock, Anne Hamilton, and Matt Hamilton are leading the charge for this year’s gala, which is expected to draw a crowd of 650.
The invitation encourages supporters to join in for an evening of entertainment and fundraising to benefit IYRS and its talented students.
The night kicks off at 6 p.m. with cocktails on the IYRS wharf. At 7:30 p.m., guests will move to a tent for a seated dinner and auctions. The Legendary Wailers are set to perform at 9:30 p.m.
Tickets start at $500 for general admission. For those looking to make a bigger impact, the title sponsor package is available for $75,000. This top-tier option includes prime seating for 10, overall event “presented by” naming rights, and various promotional perks.
