Newport’s Secret Garden Tour is moving to late June, showcasing the city’s historic Point section from June 27-29, 2025.
Organizers have shifted the self-guided walking tour to catch the gardens at their peak. This change gives visitors a fresh look at old favorites, with seasonal flowers like hydrangeas and day lilies in full bloom.
Katie Dyer, an event representative, explains, “We’ve moved the garden tour to late June to show off these spectacular gardens when they’re looking their best.”
The tour runs daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a cap of 350 tickets per day. You can grab advance tickets online at www.secretgardentours.org for a discounted price of $30.
Since 1984, the Secret Garden Tour has been supporting art education and cultural programs in Aquidneck Island’s public schools. So far, they’ve contributed over $1 million to fund music, theater, and fine arts programs for local kids.

The Benefactors of the Arts, who run the event, are keeping up their long-standing tradition of boosting cultural experiences for Aquidneck Island students.
