Rogers High School’s girls basketball team is moving on to the quarterfinals after beating Cumberland 43-34 on Tuesday. The game took place at the Hut-Martin Recreation Center in Newport.

With this win, Rogers improves to a 13-9 season record, while Cumberland ends its season with an 8-15 record.

Next up, Rogers faces Scituate in the quarterfinals. The game is set for Friday at 7 p.m. at Scituate High School.
