Rogers High School’s basketball team is moving on to the division quarterfinals after beating Middletown 67-42 on Tuesday. The game took place at The Hut – Martin Recreation Center in Newport.

The Vikings came out strong, shutting down Middletown’s offense and securing a decisive 25-point win. With this victory, Rogers improves to 14-7 for the season, while Middletown drops to 9-13.

Next up, Rogers will take on Moses Brown (20-2) in the quarterfinals. The game is set for Friday at 6 p.m. at Moses Brown School.

Tuesday’s match highlighted Rogers’ offensive skills and defensive strength. They took control from the start, setting a fast pace that Middletown struggled to match throughout the game.
