Pivotal Brewing Company, an award-winning brewery in Bristol, announced plans to open a second location in Newport this morning.
According to a post on Instagram, the brewery will open at 140 Broadway, formerly Cabana and Salvation Cafe.
“We’re thrilled to announce that Pivotal’s second location is coming to Broadway in Newport, RI this spring! We’ll be setting up shop in the former home of the iconic Salvation Cafe, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring our newest gathering spot to the heart of the Broadway District,” the brewery shared on Instagram.
“We can’t wait to join Newport’s vibrant community and share what makes Pivotal so special. Stay tuned—there’s so much more to come,” they said.
In an email to newsletter subscribers, the brewery says that it plans to open this spring.

Owned by Todd Nicholson and Rebecca Ernst, Pivotal Brewing Comapny opened at 500 Wood Street in Bristol in November 2021.
